Mission
On 26 October 2004 the Tuscany Regional Agency for Health, the Tuscany Regional Agency for Environmental Protection, the Florence University Hospital for Children - Meyer, International Society of Doctors for the Environment – ISDE in collaboration with other organisations and network jointly promoted and created the International School on Environment, Health and Sustainable Development which is an independent, interinstitutional, intersectorial and interdisciplinary body.
On 2007 the Italian Federation of General Practitioners took the place of the the Florence University Hospital for Children - Meyer.
The International School on Environment, Health and Sustainable Development aims to promote integration among representatives of the International, National and local Administrations and representatives of Associations and Professions to evaluate knowledge and experiences and elaborate eventual solutions on health issues; the School promotes training activities as moment of integration among involved subjects and base for interventions
